The Horn Antenna fabricating workshop was jointly organised by Radio Physics Lab and The Astronomy Centre for Educators (ACE IUCAA), TLC-IUCAA. This workshop is intended for faculty members from colleges and universities. The aim is to initiate and promote radio astronomical observation programmes at college and university levels. In this workshop we covered talks on radio astronomy, antenna theory, basics of observational astronomy and horn antenna building. The participants fabricate and assembled the horn antenna and used it later for the observations of H1 line. They took observations (such as observing 21 cm hydrogen line and the Sun) with the instrument will be carried out during the workshop duration.
